Home Suite Hope (HSH) has been serving the needs of homeless families in Oakville and in Halton for more than a decade. Its mission is to help homeless single parents and their children move from crisis to stability so they can break the cycle of poverty. Founded in 2004, this local charity provides long-term transitional housing, skills development and education programs and social services to families living in poverty.
This past year they served over 100 individuals in Halton with their life changing family programs, ReStart Halton and Homeward Bound Halton, working with numerous emergency shelters and other referring community, supported by incredible board members, devoted employees and committed volunteers, who are all working with one goal in mission – to open new doors of opportunity to families living in poverty. We are proud to salute them as our local hero!
