Iroquois Ridge North is a community situated in the northeast part of Oakville who’s boundaries are Dundas Street to the north, Upper Middle Road to the South, Highway 403 to the east and a combination including Trafalgar and Postridge Roads to the west. Many of the homes were built in the 1990’s and 2000’s as Oakville continues to grow to the north. Residential development in Oakville has only recently begun north of Dundas Street. The long term Town of Oakville plan includes a new downtown area just north of the Iroquois Ridge North community on Trafalgar Road. In 2014 and 2015 there has been heavy residential development just north of Dundas Street further west between Neyagawa Road and Sixth Line and this will continue east throughout the rest of Oakville.

9th Line is one of the main arteries running through the community and in 2015 it has gone through a major reconstruction to expand it to multiple lanes to accommodate the residential growth in the region. The 5 Drive In is one of the rare drive in theatres in the region and is located on 9th Line.
