If you are looking for something to do earlier in the day you could head to Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park for fun in a beautiful lakeside setting. Activities for kids include giant inflatables, face painting and stilt walkers. Everyone can enjoy various vendors, food, sampling booths and watch the world-famous Burlington Teen Tour Band. This event also ends with an exciting fireworks display.

For more action, head into Toronto to catch the Blue Jays hopefully beat the Kansas City Royals. If you get there early, you can participate in some pre-game festivities and show your national pride. Also, the first 15 000 fans will get a Blue Jays demin hat. You can’t beat that!
